- Leave all Office programs.
- Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run.
- Sort in "Regedit" and snap OK.
- Find the accompanying registry sub keys:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft \Office\9.0\Word\Data
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Office\9.0\Word\Options
- Click Data and Options (each one in turn), and after that snap Export on the File menu.
- Name the record Wddata.reg and Wdoptn.reg separately, and afterward spare the documents to the desktop.
